Sammie Averill was the medalist by two shots today. This was the first time in her career that she has been the medalist in an invitational. What made this particularly impressive was the fact that the field was very strong and the golf course was extremely difficult (long yardage and difficult greens).
Our team score was respectable considering we only had 4 players today due to illness.
